This unique parcel is the site of an early mill located on Elk Lick Creek. The hand-laid stone breastwork created the mill pond and the wheel was turned by water which tunneled beneath the breastworks. The stonework has survived and the "retired" mill creek now meanders along a steep bank on one side of what was the former pond, and then meanders around the remaining breastwork, to escape onward down stream. This is a beautiful spot in Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter!
